The Special Operations Forces carried out the deepest strike against Muscovy since the beginning of the war! On September 9, Deep Strike units of the Special Operations Forces successfully struck two giants of the gas-condensate industry — the Novourengoy and Purovsky plants.

This was reported by the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the military, both enterprises are located in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug — one of Muscovy's key oil and gas-producing regions. Special Operations Forces drones covered more than 3,000 kilometers to reach the target. Until today, this was considered an absolutely safe rear area for the aggressor.

It is also emphasized that the enterprises are of critical importance to the gas-condensate industry. The plants prepare and process significant volumes of gas condensate extracted from fields in Yamal.

  • The Novourengoy GCP has a design capacity of 19.5 million tonnes of raw materials per year,
  • while the Purovsky GCP processed 13.4 million tonnes of gas condensate in 2025.

"The gas-condensate industry is an important component of Muscovy's economy and generates revenues for the aggressor's budget. The Special Operations Forces continue to successfully implement Ukraine's long-range sanctions against Muscovy, reducing its ability to wage a war of aggression," the statement says.

As reported, during the attack on the night of September 9, the military personnel of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also destroyed a Su-33 fighter jet, an Mi-8 helicopter, and other Muscovite equipment. As reported, in the Black Sea, drones struck 13 more vessels of the «shadow fleet».

In addition, at night the Defense Forces struck a naval base in Muscovite Novorossiysk. The Muscovite frigate «Admiral Essen» was also hit.
