The missing woman was found

A pregnant woman who disappeared in Minsk was found dead — the father of her unborn child killed her.

Forty-three-year-old Tatyana Martyshchenko, who was five to six months pregnant, mysteriously disappeared on September 8, 2026. She left home and stopped responding, after which her mother contacted law enforcement, and the Angel rescue detachment joined the search.

Details of the tragedy and investigation:

Arrest of the suspect: Criminal investigation officers, supported by Almaz special forces personnel, detained a 38-year-old Minsk resident.

Motive for the crime: The detainee confessed to the murder. He had been in a close relationship with Tatyana and knew about her pregnancy. However, the man was officially in another relationship, which led to constant conflicts between them.

It is reported that he strangled the woman and hid her body in a wooded area outside the city.
