A roundtable discussion was held in Bishkek on the topic “The Role of Women in Promoting Good-Neighborly Relations and Sustainable Development in Kyrgyzstan and China”

A roundtable on the topic "The Role of Women in Promoting Good-Neighborliness and the Sustainable Development of Kyrgyzstan and China" was held on Thursday in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. More than 120 people took part, including women from various sectors of society.

At the event, Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Liu Jiangping spoke about China's achievements in advancing women's development and the results of cooperation between the two countries in the area of women's affairs. According to the ambassador, in recent years cooperation between Chinese and Kyrgyz women has become increasingly close. The All-China Women's Federation and the Embassy of China in Kyrgyzstan have long supported the Congress of Women of Kyrgyzstan in implementing charitable educational projects in areas such as computer literacy, sewing, and cosmetology, contributing to the development of Kyrgyz women.

Liu Jiangping expressed hope that women from both countries would use their strengths to contribute to the development of cooperation and friendship between China and Kyrgyzstan.

Participants from the Kyrgyz side highly praised the results of bilateral cooperation in the area of women's affairs, thanked the Chinese side for its long-standing support for the development of women's affairs in Kyrgyzstan, and expressed their readiness to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with China for the advancement of women's causes and the development of Kyrgyz-Chinese relations.
