This issue is being discussed both within NATO and in Poland itself, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said in an interview with BBC Radio 4.

"When a cruise missile is coming at us — one of them exploded on Polish territory just a month ago, after all — it is much better to shoot it down in self-defense while it is still in Ukrainian airspace than to allow a situation in which it is shot down and the debris falls on someone on this side of the border," Sikorski said.

According to him, such an approach would help both Ukraine and Poland. "If we could create a no-fly zone and protect western Ukraine — and, say, allow Ukraine to reopen the airport in Lviv — we would be doing a service both to Ukraine and to ourselves", the minister said.

On Sunday, Muscovite terrorists carried out drone strikes against several facilities located near the Ukrainian-Polish border. The locomotive of the Kyiv–Warsaw train and a gas station near Yahodyn station in the Volyn region were damaged.

Strikes on Ukraine's western regions have continued since Saturday; Muscovite drones attacked trains and railway stations.
