Brad Pitt pranked a courier by claiming to be Matt Damon

Actor Brad Pitt said that he once pretended to be Matt Damon. His words were reported by The Daily Beast.

Pitt recalled an incident when a courier recognized him but could not remember where he had seen him before. The actor then unexpectedly said: “I’m Matt Damon.”

Confusion between actors is not uncommon: during the World Cup final, Fox commentator John Strong announced from the stadium that Brad Pitt was among the spectators, although the shot showed Matt Damon with his wife, Luciana Barroso. When the mistake came to light, the commentator quickly corrected himself, blaming glare on the monitors.

Pitt and Damon met while filming “Ocean’s Eleven” in 2001. Since then, they have often joked about each other during press tours and on social media.
