The whole world is counting on effective decisions by the global community and genuine pressure from our partners so that Muscovy sees that manipulating diplomatic signals will not allow it to continue gaining more and more time for war and terror.

Only today, and only in Kyiv, Muscovite jet-powered drones “defeated” two kindergartens and two schools, an ordinary residential building, an auto repair shop, several warehouses, and communications facilities.

Anywhere in the world, such a choice of targets is called by one word — terrorism. Muscovy has no military objective whatsoever in carrying out such strikes — it is purely an attempt to break people and inflict as much harm as possible on our society.

Unfortunately, there are fatalities… My condolences to their families and loved ones. Dozens of people were injured.

Since yesterday, Muscovites have used a total of 277 attack drones of various types, 155 of them jet-powered. Among the damaged facilities is also a building used as a residence by the ambassador of Saudi Arabia.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, a sports school was among the damaged facilities.

In Sumy region, the building of the regional orphanage was damaged. 

If Muscovy were truly preparing for any real steps toward de-escalation — as it claims, including to U.S. negotiators — this wave of “Shahed” terror would not be happening. And we need to assess the situation soberly.

Muscovy knows how to send such encouraging diplomatic signals that the world simply wants to hear… It knows how to send such signals in order to postpone the world’s tough steps in response to the war. In the United States, Lindsey Graham’s important sanctions and tariffs bill has already moved to the implementation stage. It is a law that can change a great deal for the better if it is fully implemented.

This law must be implemented — and everyone in the world can see that there are ALL THE GROUNDS for applying it and a CLEAR PURPOSE for doing so.

The planet is counting on effective decisions by the world and increased pressure from our partners so that Muscovy sees: manipulating diplomatic signals will not allow it to continue gaining more and more time for war and terror.

It is important that our other partners in the G7 and G20 also take a principled position. New sanctions packages are being prepared — in particular, targeting financial networks, supply chains for components and equipment used in the production of Muscovite weapons, as well as specific companies and individuals, above all those involved in producing Muscovite ballistic missiles.

The new sanctions must take effect as early as October in order to create a stronger foundation for changing the situation and push Muscovy toward genuine diplomacy.
