Levan Koguashvili's film "Guria" will represent Georgia at the Oscars

The world premiere of "Guria" will take place at the Venice International Film Festival

TBILISI, September 3 — Sputnik. The National Film Center of Georgia will submit director Levan Koguashvili's film "Guria" for the Academy Awards.

The film will be submitted in the "Best International Feature Film" category.

Five films took part in the competition announced by the National Film Center of Georgia: "The Moon Is My Father," directed by Giorgi Ovashvili; "Phase," directed by Nino Basilia; "Share the Love," directed by Nikoloz Khomasuridze; "Supporting Role," directed by Anna Urushadze; and "Guria," directed by Levan Koguashvili.
